A mechanical watch is a small machine, and it changes over time. Until now, checking how one is running has meant specialist equipment or a visit to a watchmaker. We think owners should be able to understand their own watches — at home, between services, without the jargon.
Our first product is in development. Nothing is for sale yet.
Horitrix (ho-REE-trix) draws on hōra, the word for ‘hour’ behind horology, and hori (彫り), Japanese for carving — time, and the craft of making things by hand.
